House Teams

Once a child enters Year R they are assigned a house; Red, Blue, Green or Purple. We ensure that families are in the same house team throughout their time at Althorpe and Keadby.  This is reflected in our school uniform and all our polo shirts are available in the house colours.

House points are awarded for specific competitions (see timetable on PE page)

Hard work tokens by are converted to house points each week by our Year 6 leaders and the scoreboard in the hall is then updated.

At the end of each term, the winning house team chooses a team rewarded to enjoy together.

At the start of the year, Year 6 pupils interested in being a house captain prepare a speech to share with their team. All team members then have a vote to select 1 boy and 1 girl as their house captains for the year. House captains play a vital role working with other leaders within the school to support learning, motivate younger members into sport and oraganise different clubs and activities throughout the year.
