Peer Leaders

At Althorpe and Keadby everyone is invested in ensuring all can achieve their potential. Even the children. 

We have a team of Peer leaders from Year 6 who have demonstrated exceptional coaching skills during their time in school and who now work with younger children during timetabled slots across the school week. 

The leaders support children who may not have people at home to read with regularly, who are struggling to learn their times tables, need support with handwriting practice or are stuck on certain spelling patterns. The peer leaders offer a friendly and supportive opportunity for these children to get the practice they need so they can achieve their full potential in class.
