At Althorpe and Keadby, we are very proud of our lunch time and the system that we operate.

All children within Reception and KS1 have an automatic hot lunch, children do not bring packed lunches. Children choose their lunch online, either with parents at home or within school in the mornings.

Children within KS2 follow the same online system, the only difference being that they do have the option of bringing a packed lunch should they want one.

We have worked closely with the dedicated cooks within the kitchen to provide a menu that is tasty, nutritious and provides a wide variety for all children.

Every day children have the choice of two hot meals, alternatively they may choose to have a jacket  potato or sandwiches. All of these meals are available with additional fruit, vegetables and breads as requested by the children.
